This page has copies of the original Share Offer Literature and Model Rules. It is for use when shareholdings are transferred between parties under strict rules in the event of an U18 coming of age, the death of a shareholder or the closure of a company.
DOCUMENTS TO READ BEFORE SIGNING A SHARE TRANSFER FORM
Note before proceeding with this you will have been in touch with a member of the committee to guide you through this transfer process:
- Please read the Share Offer Addendum Document so that you understand the key facts about this new share offer.
- Then please read the original Share Information Document alongside the Privacy Notice (both are posted below). Both are critical to understand before you accept shares as it fully explains your investment in the Chequers.
- We are the Roxwell Chequers Community Benefit Society set up in accordance with “Model Rules” which provides the foundational, democratic governing framework for community-owned enterprises like pubs. This ensures the trust and fairness with which the society runs and we manage on behalf of the community.
